The Pancake Week in Ancient Kiev
On the 25th-26th of February 2012 “The Kievan Rus Park” invites guests to celebrate the Pancake Week
The bright daily program will start the holiday, where you will see the dramatic performance, interactive program for children and adults, snow funs and tobogganing, competitions, round dances and jumps over the fire, different master-classes of folk crafts and, of course, you will be able to taste pancakes with various fillings – the traditional Shrovetide dishes.
The program reveals the ancient traditions of celebrating the Pancake Week.
The burning of the biggest straw-man in Ukraine with burning arrows will be the culmination of the holiday.
Evening program will continue the holiday and you will be presented the magnificent fire-show and the festive fireworks.
